Posted - Jul 28 2011 : 08:59:08 AM I am not a big fan of the store bought made in China ones, so I made my own:
I naturally love it. Do you think I could sell them at craft shows or the such? Maybe do iPad covers and covers for other e-readers? How much would you charge or, more importantly, how much would you buy one for? I was thinking around $10-$15. That is still cheaper than the generic ones but I think waaaaay cuter!

Posted - Jul 28 2011 : 09:55:38 AM I'll take locally handmade over anything made in China! If I were a Kindle person, I'd buy one. I still like books and I've had the same basic cell phone for five years now. (We just bought our very first digital camera a few months ago)
BTW, I still can't for the life of me get those pretty crochet flower scarf thingys to come out right. Yours are so cute and I can only get 9 "points" (or peaks or whatever) instead of the 10 that you have (and that the pattern calls for!).
But I'll keep tryin'! Thanks for the pics of your newest project! Darlene
