I have looked everywhere and then I thought Farmgirls!
I need to find a pattern for a riding jacket for a boy size 8. My grandson has been taking riding lessons and they want him to be in a show in September. This is his second show and the first was western (no big deal there).
He needs a navy blue riding jacket. He rides both western and English but this show is English Pleasure. I can't find a pattern in any of the pattern books. If I can't find a pattern then I guess we will try some of the consignment shops.
The other one is I need a pattern - simple front and back for a swim suit for American Girl size dolls. I had a woman making them for me and she raised her price from $2.00 each to $6.50 each. I dont mind a raise but that is way to much for me to pay. I use them on my doll tutus and that is just more than I can afford. I could make them myself but a pattern would be nice.
Please let me know if you have either of the above and how much you would like for it.
The doll swimsuit is just basic. front and back turned under.
Or if you have a navy blue riding jacket for a boy size 8 please let me know how much you would want for it.
Thanks Alexis

Posted - Jul 26 2011 : 11:47:11 AM Thanks Sheri,
I think that might just work - the Hunt Jacket looks perfect. I did call one consignment shop and they have a size 10 so we may run out there to see it before I order the pattern. I hate making lined jackets but if I have to I will. It is a lot cheaper than buying a new one for him.
I appreciate your response.
