Posted - Jul 21 2011 : 10:06:41 AM Good! I saw some pics of people who painted a small, hall wall, and a small tabletop. Kids could sit/stand and color to their heart's content!

My girls have been wantin chalkboards for their rooms, but we simply can't afford them. I have some cans of paint that were given to us and I could swing the $8 for the grout stuff!
You have definitely made their day!

Posted - Jul 20 2011 : 09:59:41 AM Cute! I saw an idea yesterday for making cake stands- use an old can (for the base) covered w/scrapbooking paper, use a dollar stove drip tray (round thing goes under the burner), glue together, put pompoms, etc. on the outside edge... cute...

Posted - Jul 20 2011 : 09:23:19 AM I buy the circle stacking boxes that come in a set of 3 and paint them with chalkboard paint, then wrap rick-rack around the bottom of each, and when you stack them it looks like a cake! I give them as birthday gifts.
Here is the link where I got the idea: http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2011/05/how-to_chalkboard_cake_toy.html
