For those that are quilters you may know who Ami Simms is, she is a national quilter who started a Alzheimer's charity due to her mother passing away with the disease. People can make small wallhangings (no bigger than 9x12) that will be sold or auctioned to raise funds, or even purchase or auction on one. So far she has donated more than 500K to research. For any of you interested here is her website, http://alzquilts.org/aboutus.html

your welcome I thought others would either enjoy making them or perhaps purchasing them for this great cause. It is amazing how many people are effected with this disease and their families. With the older population alot more people will be diagnosed in the coming years.
