This is the first quilt I have made without a kit. My quilt guild made and donated quilts to the tornado victims in Alabama and Missouri. I donated this baby quilt to the cause. I love the 1930's fabric, and only wish I had more to make a bigger quilt.

thanks everyone. I had actually made the half square triangles bigger in order to have smaller hst also. I think I will use those to make a small wall hanging for a alzheimers charity group.

Babies love geometrics and contrast! You made a perfect quilt for a baby. It is beautiful to us grown ups too! Good job! I can see a mom smiling as she covers her sweet little one with love from someone she does not know.
