That is the date on the newspapers between the rows of this waiting to be quilted beauty.

I was wondering what the pinned note to them was:
7 foot 8 blocks
6 foot 1 half 7 blocks 1 half
3 foot 8 blocks

is there a pattern to putting this together?
Should I just lay it out and piece it together?
Is this Grandmothers Flower Garden?

Here is another stack that is not finished

and a cute start with a metal box full of little cut squares sorry about the rug color that is the new rug my daughters picked for the wood floor in their room

A little love on any project can make things happen.

Jennifer - these quilt treasures are yours now. You are the next step in the history of this needlework. Make it yours and do what comes to your heart. It will be the right thing. And it will be the next step in the history of this quilt. We, in these times, matter too, in the thread of years. You have a treasure and it is yours to make even more precious.

Peace

some notes only make since to the person who origannly figured out he lay out.
grandmothers flower garden should be hand stitched together or mounted ( applicaed) (sp) to a foundation block then those stitched together either way it will more than like take hand work. Yes it is a version of grandmothers flower garden looks to have a double path around the flowers meaning each block finishes with the same color so when you sew them together you get a double wide border around all the flowers. Traditional way of doing it. if you still have orginal fabric you can make a border but first I would look at the pieces all layed out on the floor and see if there is a secondary pattern you like with out the border then decided which you prefer.

last one is trip around the world.

second one is called pinwheel and or whurly gig

have a lovely day and may God bless you and keep you safe
