So a sweet friend of mine from church has a birthday coming up. I started on a birthday gift for her, but found that it was just way beyond my ability momentarily. So, I started embroidery a quilt piece, as I know it is a pattern she would like, but I have no idea what to make the embroidered piece into. It is an 18 X18 square that, due to the embroidery design can not be cut. PLEASE HELP!!
I was thinking tote bag, but it seems way too huge for that...any other ideas? I'll keep embroidering while you think up what would be good to make it into..lol
thanks

I would cut it up and make a tote bag. The center circle put on one side and the smaller corners made into random little pockets or even a coin purse to match. It would be beautiful integrated into a quilted theme of coordinating fabric.

Do what you love, love what you do.

I like the wall hanging and the pillow idea too. being as it is 18 X18, it doesn't seem to big? I need to add a border which would make it bigger too. :D

That's very pretty! I think a nice white pillow would look sweet on a bed.

How about a pillow, a wall hanging, or a small table centerpiece?

A pillow, front piece for an apron, frame it, make a mini quilt from the one block to hang on the wall. That's all I can think of!
