Posted - Mar 07 2011 : 11:53:51 AM I just did a baby afghan using I think a K hook. It was the first time I've used this type of crochet. I did like the thickness of the stitch. Anne's Attic has several pattern books you can order or download.

Posted - Mar 06 2011 : 07:23:57 AM I've made several afghans and throw rugs in the past, but with an H or K hook. The basic stitch makes a nice firm pattern of squares which you can embroider in counted cross stitch.
Look for old books from the 60s. Bernat published several designs of that type. |
