Posted - Mar 07 2011 : 04:58:05 AM My son in law received a beautiful quilt when he was injured in Iraq, and had to come home. I believe it was after he was discharged from Walter Reed and was home in Alaska, but I remember thinking what a wonderful thing to do. My daughter and son in law still cherish that quilt, and my grand daughter knows how and why he received it. I have the page bookmarked, and am going to try to do as many as possible in the next 2 months! Thanks for the link Bea!

Posted - Mar 05 2011 : 3:40:11 PM I wish I had time to do this right now. When I got out if the service they did a program like this though the VA, and I recieved one through them. It made me tear up a little bit!
