WAHOOOOOO! I got home today from running errands & checked my emails...to find an email from EllyAnne Geisel author of 'The Apron Book' and 'The Vintage Linen Book'....anyway, she had recently met up with the publishers of the Apronology magazine and thus had a drawing for their newest magazine...& guess who won! ME!
So glad I peek into her blog all the time.

I love the Apronology magazine! I actually love most anything put out by Somerset. They have a really nice GreenCraft they put out too.

Oh Linda,
what a treat it must have been to take the tour & meet up with EllynAnne.....
As for EllynAnne, she was up here 3 years ago for the Farm Chick show, and had a booking signing...it was great. EllynAnne is such a colorful character,,,,,and has a true zeal & passion for her aprons.

I have the 1st Apronology mag...forgot to buy #2, and now i will be receiving #3...Wahooo!

Congratulations Katmom!! Just wanted to let you know my daughter and I went to the Cowgirl Museum in Ft Worth had lunch, toured the exhibit and then had our picture taken and bought a autographed book from the author. We then toured the cowgirl museum which was very well done. The aprons exhibit and talk was so much fun and informative. If you get the chance to go you will love it. It was a great day! Hugs! Congratulations, Katmom, Just happened across this, and wanted to tell you that my daughter and I were at the Cowgirl Museum and toured the exhibit and ate at the luncheon with the author and listened to her take us thru history of the aprons. We then toured the
Cowgirl Museum. It was so much fun. And the aprons were outstanding! We even have our picture taken with her in the gift shop were she was signing her newest book. Hugs!!

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
