I made this purse the last two evenings for my daughter. It turned out even nicer then I thought.

Posted - Jan 08 2011 : 6:14:09 PM What a lovely purse! Your daughter will love all those pockets too! And I read Dorinda's comment about a new Kitchen Aid and had to laugh. I recently bought a 1962 model Kitchen Aid at a yard sale and I love it! Of course, I never had a new one, so have nothing to compare...LOL! |

Posted - Jan 07 2011 : 8:34:14 PM That purse is so cute! Did your daughter help pick out the fabric? She's a lucky girl to have a Mom who sews.
It reminds me of the purse that my Mom made for me in 7th grade. I took a pattern we found and "re-designed" it to my liking and then picked out the fabric and trims. It was a fun Mother-daughter project.

Posted - Jan 07 2011 : 1:54:33 PM Love the purse. My husband buys me a new Vera Bradley purse and wallett every year for my birthday. But this year I am asking for a new Kitchen Aid since my old one is 21 years old. Was the purse hard to make? I would love to make my own purse!!
