I'm making a small doll quilt for a vintage doll cradle that I bought. I want to tie it with embroidery floss. How many strands do you use to tye it?

I understood what you ment but some doll quilts are 3 inches by 5 inches.

For one your size I would probably use 3 strands if it was small I would use a single stand and a little french knot to tie it

It's small -- about 12" x 8 ". What I meant by how many is how many strands in each tie.
