Came across this pattern in the Simplicity catalog!! It is the exact pattern you are looking for if the other one didn't work out:

About 8 posts before this one, I asked for the same thing! Thanks for supplying the pattern information. My arts and crafts tearoom is opening July 8, and I need tea cozies like the one pictured above. I can't wait to try this out!

Here you go. I read through the pattern and this sounds like what you want. It doesn't have a photo of the finished product, but, I'm thinking of making one too. I love the gathered tea cozy because you can pour with the cozy on!
