Anyone have any ideas/advice for me...I would like to make a diaper bag, a vintage or old fashioned one, something more unique than Winnie the Pooh or Sesame Street. Any and all ideas appreciated- thanks!

The first couple diaper bags were storebought as gifts. After 1 child they were never big enough. By the time I got to 4 kids (7yrs oldest to youngest) I Made one. It was not fancy, just a large denim tote. It held lots! This lasted forever! It was used as the beach bag for yrs.after it's diaber bag stage.

Good luck, teddie

I used a large "Vera Bradley" chicken tote bag for a diaper bag for my little guy, and it was perfect - quilted with one pocket inside and a button top. The straps were long enough to go over my shoulder, but not so long that the bag hung too low. What a fun project!

XOXO, Libbie

Ashley -- I've made lots of diaper bags. You could use any fabric, although the heavier decorator fabrics work best.
