Posted - Jun 01 2006 : 1:42:01 PM The first couple diaper bags were storebought as gifts. After 1 child they were never big enough. By the time I got to 4 kids (7yrs oldest to youngest) I Made one. It was not fancy, just a large denim tote. It held lots! This lasted forever! It was used as the beach bag for yrs.after it's diaber bag stage.
Good luck, teddie |

Posted - May 30 2006 : 6:32:32 PM I used a large "Vera Bradley" chicken tote bag for a diaper bag for my little guy, and it was perfect - quilted with one pocket inside and a button top. The straps were long enough to go over my shoulder, but not so long that the bag hung too low. What a fun project!
XOXO, Libbie
