I am attempting one of those round dishcloths, I just think they're so pretty!
I keep ending up with one extra stitch on my needs though. :(
I am doing a knit to the last stitch(or2 or 3, etc.) and turn, that I have never done before. I am just wondering if I am doing it wrong, but can't find anywhere on line to show me how to do it.
I've been back through the pattern twice, and can't seem to figure out where else I would be adding a stitch.
Here's the link to the pattern.

Does anyone know if there are any tutorials online showing how to do this?
Thanks!

Or could it be that you're still adding a YO in on row 20 just like the other bind off rows?

Well, I got to the end of the first 20 and had 15 stitches. Could you maybe be adding a YO on the knit across (odd row) side? That could easily happen when you're in the habit of K3, YO. Maybe you just added an extra YO in somewhere?

Oh wait...I see what you're saying...you're ending up with 16 stitches at the end of the repeat instead of 15? I'm working the pattern right now. Let me see what I come up with. I thought you meant each row you were getting an extra stitch.

Yes! I'm sorry, after I read what I wrote I realized that I said it wrong, lol! You are exactly right! Thank you for helping, I'm working on it now too!! :)

Yes...the extra stitch is coming from the yarn over you're doing. You are doing it exactly right. Looks like a fun pattern. I think I'll make one today too! :)

Brenda, I made one and it came out OK. Sometimes when a pattern is not coming out, it is just a simple misread of the pattern. On each section, did you come out with an extra stitch? Do you mark what row you are on? This pattern has you not knitting the last stitch, and just turning and then turning with 2 stitches left etc. (short rowing) I think I had trouble getting the first 20 rows of this pattern to come out but once I got the hang of it, the other sections came out OK. I have that pattern laying here to work on when we do our next roadtrip.
Keep trying, this is a great learning experience. Wish I could help but I
Good Luck

Looks like a neat pattern. I'll have to try it. I'll let you know if I figure out anything.
