The newest issue of the magazine on page 45 has an easy pattern for making your own produce bags. Since I avoid plastic I like them because I can buy fresh fruits and vegetables and since the bags weight nothing, it makes weighing the fruits and vegetables easier for the seller.

Wanted to share that I use the pastel or white coloured knee highs nylons and embroider pretty flowers and designs on the cuff area to make them prettier. Have had so many people ask me where I got the pretty produce bags.

I wasn't impressed with the reusable plastic bag (ecoli problems etc reusing plastic) but I loved the Produce Bag because you can wash those. Your Produce bags sound beautiful Beth. Do you have a picture you can share?
