Any weavers out there? I recently started weaving on a rigid heddle loom. I'd like to meet some other weavers.

I do both, harness looms and a rigid heddle,there are some great online short videos with rigid heddle.

also on ravelry.com there are a couple of forums on rigid heddle.
There are some beautiful things I've seen made on them.

As far as videos go, I have a Kromski rigid and the New Voyager Trading Company has some good videos, but I also used the book Rigid Heddle Weaving too. Right now, I am making a plain weave scarf with some Mountain Colors yarn I had. I plan to use up some more yarns I have around, and then I plan to play with rayon chenille! |

Hi Sherri, I do some weaving. I have a tapestry loom and a table loom and my other loom can be a 12 harness but at present, I am using it as a 4 harness loom. I think in some of my older post on my blog you can see my looms and some of the things I have made. I really love to weave and spin and knit but it just seems like I run out of hours in the day.
What are you weaving on now?

hello Sherri, how in the world did I miss you, you are not to far from me. My hubby works in warner robbins, where in w.r. do you live? I dont weave but , maybe we can get together one day and do lunch. I'd love to meet another farmgirl friend face to face! Blessings,Karen
