Posted - Apr 19 2010 : 1:30:20 PM Diana - from what you said in your earlier post I think you found the perfect gift. Giving a quilt is such a special gift - for someone to know that you took that time to make something for them could make all the difference, just knowing someone cares and values them is so important. Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 6:37:20 PM I don't have any more of the multi so I had to go with the black. I think part of my problem is I hate doing borders so I have not done and then regretted it so I thought I would ask. By doing the 6 inch is hangs over a twin just right.
Thanks for the input yalll

Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 6:06:59 PM What about a two inch black border all around and then bind it with the flowered fabric that is the border now? It's beautiful whatever you do with it!!

Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 5:08:47 PM The look right now is more of a country casual. Another row of black would give it a more formal 'Company Quilt' look, as my gramma would say. Depends on which look you like better. I'd never be able to decide, I like both looks. You sure did a beautiful job!

Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 4:19:21 PM I think another row of black would really make the colors "pop" even more. Just my two cents. Looks great though - you're very talented!

Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 4:18:09 PM Diana...sorry I didn't catch the black part on your first message. I read it as block. BUT Black would work well too or leave it like it is because once it is on the twin bed the border will probably become a non-issue. When it is hanging up like your picture (like if it were a wall hanging) where your eye takes it all in at once then I think it matters. Does that make any sense at all???? ~peggy

Posted - Apr 18 2010 : 4:11:51 PM Peggy Anne More black and color blocks? I have the fabric but at that point is to be big for a twinsize bed it would be more a queen size at that point. But a good idea. Thanks Diana
