I'm sayin' there ain't nothin' wrong with a good bandanna but..
I'm on a mission to bring farmgirl charm to basic farm wear
Soooo...ideas thus far are.
Add embroidery
lace
crochet lace
ric-rac
Alternate colour ribbon edge
beads
sequins
braid
buttons
or a bit of fringe

I love taking basic things and fancy-ing them up
Just wanted to share the basis of an idea

As soon as I get a few done I'll share pics.

My mom made us girls halter tops made out of bandannas. We loved them ...

In one of the MJF magazines she had a bandana that you embroidered all the black and white lines and areas. I made one for my niece. Turned out really nice, and alot of work.

I'm always wearing bandanas (on my head) and sometimes I feel more like a biker than a farmgirl. Except the ones I got from Farmallgrl....now those are cute!!

Can't wait to see pictures of what you come up with!!

Hey Annika,
What about snipping little holes just wide enough to weave trim in and out of along the edges?

Prayer costs nothing, but is worth the most.
