Posted - Mar 20 2010 : 4:59:58 PM Hi All :) Has anybody here made the shelf with the rolling pin hangers? I would love one for my kitchen (Bigger and no rolling pins on this one) but the directions are kind of sketchy (for me) and it looks like waaaaay more than a couple of planks and beadboard.Hoped to find more info here but no luck as of yet...not even sure where to ask for help.
Thanks for any help anyone is willing to give. :) Margaret |

Posted - May 04 2010 : 09:33:58 AM Maragret, Well, I'm getting back to you awfully late! I did the project but my FIL helped more than I thought he would. It didn't turn out the exact way I wanted but that's a long story with some frustrations so I won't go there! :) Anyway, here's the finished product: http://mountainhomequilts.blogspot.com/2010/05/homestead-apron-hanger.html I am determined to make one though (on my own) for a friends birthday this September!

Posted - Mar 21 2010 : 4:49:11 PM Margaret, I looked at the issue and the project and it looks as if it's just beadboard, a top shelf, some molding at the bottom and couple thin wood pieces that frame the sides and the part below the shelf. I'm going to try and make this project and my FIL is a woodworker so I'll ask him for help. I'll try and keep you updated on how it comes out! :)
