I just bought a little over a yard of awesome red ticking, and I want to make an apron with it. I'm just trying to decide what kind of apron! I'm thinking a full apron, but I'm not settled...

What do y'all think? Do you have pictures of a pattern than you like best and would look nice in red ticking? I need some input!

Yeah, I was thinking a bib apron maybe, with the stripes on the waistband and neckband running the opposite way than the rest of the apron. Maybe a flour sack material pocket, with some red embroidery on it??

A simple bib apron with or without a pocket would look wonderful! Let us know what you decide. . . better yet, post a picture!

This picture is really cute. If you can either find a couple of old cotton handkerchiefs for pockets or make pockets of another fabric that would look old fashioned and sweet in ticking.I'm going to make one when I get the time.
