Posted - Apr 22 2006 : 3:23:20 PM Does anyone have an idea where I can find cute patterns for knitted egg cosies? I was in England recently and my boiled eggs were topped with the most darling little warmers. I have searched the Internet, but it is very limited. I am making a little strawberry egg cosy of my own, but I am sure that you creative minds have much better ideas.
Thanks a bunch! ![](icons/icon_smile_wink.gif) Karin |

Posted - Apr 23 2006 : 3:05:28 PM Thank you ladies for all of the great links. I finished my little strawberry egg cosy and it turned out really cute. Using dp needles (size 2) it took me about 2 hours. My children just looked at it and rolled their eyes. All of our eggs in the refrigerator have cute little hats on them now. Maybe when my family opens the door, they will crack up! ![](icons/icon_smile.gif)

Posted - Apr 23 2006 : 09:34:36 AM Stacy, that's a great web site. I've added it to my bookmarks. I understand what you mean. You could spend all day browsing through it. In any event don't miss the Bunny Egg Cozie. It is so cute! I may have to make it just because I love bunnies not because I ever eat boiled eggs.

I think the little egg sweaters are so funny - check this out: [http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=901] - what a great idea! - not to mention a really good "value-added" item when selling farm eggs!
