As some of you know, it has taken me many, many years to finally "get" knitting! I learned when I was 8 and bought countless needles and yarn over the years, only to give them all away when I would get frustrated. Thanks to the MJF girls for helping me to keep on with this, and finally learn to knit!!!
I had done dishcloths and baby washcloths all winter, but this was my first attempt to actually do something else! My goal is to be able to knit hats for preemies and newborns to donate, and to knit hats for all of my children and grand children.
I finished this hat last night, and brought it to my new grandson today! My daughter and 3 grand daughters loved it!!!
Here is baby Freddie aka Buddy wearing it! (The hat is crooked on him, because I didn't want to wake him up straightening it out, but it is perfectly straight when off! )
