Posted - Sep 15 2020 : 5:17:04 PM Grace, I stitch for an hour or so a few evenings a week, especially on the dragonflies, as this is a gift for a dear friend. I have it on a floor stand that I pull up to the couch. I find having the project out like this causes me to be more inclined to stitch while watching tv with hubby.

Posted - Sep 15 2020 : 5:08:29 PM I have a quilting question. I was antiquing in Indiana and purchased several bags of quilt blocks and pieces that were started: improved nine, grandmother's flower garden, and disappearing block. If I decide not to continue quilts with the pieces, how else can I use the blocks? I looked at Pinterest with not much luck. I'm also very carefully washing everything - the water has looked like tea! I hung 38 improved nine blocks on the clothesline today. So satisfying!

Posted - Sep 15 2020 : 04:29:35 AM Thank you, Andrea! I haven't had an issue keeping the silk threads together. I have kept them in the little plastic bag they came in from www.fatquartershop.com.

Posted - Sep 13 2020 : 3:31:34 PM Sue, I love your dragonflies! I've used both cotton and silk. I really do like silk, sometimes a project just needs some shine. I like to use both cotton and silk in projects. I store my silk thread in pill bags - little plastic zip top bags. It's the only way I found to keep it together. How are you storing yours? I'm looking for some ideas.

Posted - Sep 02 2020 : 12:55:45 PM Jean, it is crocheted and not it’s not my own design. My friend found it and I had to purchase the pattern. I wish it was mine lol!
Denise, it’s crocheted.
Theresa, yes this is the one I was making for my friend. It’s so warm and nice. I plan to make me my own in grey. I had another friend reach out to me asking me to make one for her, so I will make that one first.
