Becky I love making cards. My problem is that when I get started I just can't seem to stop. I have so much enjoyment from creating all the different ones. I like the idea of the ATC's. And your cards are just beautiful.

Blessings, Brenda

Hi, Becky. Love this thread. I have finished 8 Easter cards and am working on general purpose cards now. I've been doing it for 3 years. Lots of fun. Hope we can get the Mail Art going!

I never knew about ATC's either, but have made cards. I make Christmas cards every year, usually using stamps and other tidbits I save off of cards that people give to me. I love to take them apart and re-use the ribbons, and pretty colors.

Your cards are really beautiful! And professional looking.

Becky your cards are truly beautiful, I am just starting to make cards, CJ may I
come to your house and you can teach me, or maybe Becky, I didn't even know how to
score a cards know now, been reading and asking questions. Glad someone asked about
the atc because I sure didn't know what it meant. I might have to put that on the
list of: try it.

Becky,
You are truly a talented artist. I make cards too but not with imagination...usually take an idea out of a magazine or book!

Have an imaginative day,

Debbie

Hi Becky,
I am a cardmaker . . . have done them for years and have done every kind. Sell them at our Farmers Market during the season and at Christmas Bazaars. I have not done ATCs but have thought about it . . . never got into it. Probably because keeping my card inventory up for market season . . . along with the other things I do . . .keeps me very busy.
I don't have any cards features on my "cjscreations" blogspot . . I have cardmaking on my schedule for March.
But I LOVE doing them . . .
CJ

Hi Folks! Thanks so much for all your welcomes and notes to me! This is all new to me, and our weather has kept me outside with the camera most of this afternoon, so I haven't gotten back sooner.

An ATC is an Artists Trading Card, and you make them the size of a regular playing card or baseball card. You can find more info about them here >>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artist_trading_cards or by just doing an internet search for artist trading cards.

Here are links to pictures of a few of mine:

I have made all my Christmas cards for the last several years. Make some Valentines and postcard greetings. But ... what does ATC stand for. I know I'm gonna feel stupid when you tell me but ...

Welcome to the Farmgirl Connection, Becky!!! Your cards are absolutely beautiful! I've just recently gotten into card making. I made all my Valentines Day cards and had so much fun doing it. Now I've sworn off buying cards and am building up my "resources" with stickers, stencils, funky scissors, etc. I'm not as good at is as the rest of you, but I sure am having fun with it.

Hi Becky,

Welcome to MJF! I love to make cards, and also participated in the Valentine card swap. It was great fun, and it looks like there might be quite a few opportunities to exchange cards on here. Have never made any ATC's.

Enjoy,
~Michelle
