I sew at the machine until I have to go out and feed the horses. Then I do hand work until 10:00 no later. But my Husband has what he calls the "Oh S*%#" Rule. After the third "Oh S*%#" I have to stop for the day. My sister has also adopted that rule.

May the force of the horse be with you.

Oh I can remember those days Asiyah! But cherish them, they grow up fast. Nap times are good times to sew. When the kids got where they didn't take naps, we still had quiet time and I was able to have my time for awhile. Isn't it so cute when the hubby wants to do their fun time planning when it's the only time we have. But yes I agree, you got to love them!

The only free time I get is at night so that's my sewing time. Dear young hubby has taken to planning little dates during my sewing time...drives me nuts! Gotta love him for trying.

I used to get up at 4 am to sew but my 4 year old put an end to that. All of a sudden he started waking up early too!

I make it a point to NEVER sew the nights I have to work the next day. And I thought putting a clock in my sewing room would help, but I never look at it. But I would have to agree with Diana, I stop when I start making mistakes.

Forget buns of steel, I'd rather have buns of cinnamon!

Especially when I'm doing my cross stitch. I just love to see a blank piece of cloth take on a beautiful picture. I'm with both of you, I using work until I just can't seem to keep my eyes open.
