Posted - Dec 06 2009 : 2:36:27 PM I am making some hot pads and using the new (new to me) Inslu-bright padding with a foil type product inside. Surely one layer is not enough? The directions are not clear...I am using one piece of cotton fabric on each side, should I use two of these?

Posted - Dec 07 2009 : 09:34:04 AM Thanks so much, I went ahead on the advice of the fabric store and used one and I am not happy with them. I quilted the tops too. So lesson learned. I think one is safe using them but they feel wimpy!

Posted - Dec 07 2009 : 07:05:50 AM I put towelling squares or batting in between 2 layers of insul, as I do not like to feel the heat and I to think you need more.
