Does anyone have a good idea for a craft using Java Jackets (those brown "sleeves" you put around paper espresso drinks for insulation)??? I have a bazillion of them and while I guess I could recycle them with cardboard, it would be nice to "do" somethiing with them.

I did find a notebook idea online. It's not that great of an idea (no offense to the creator) and I'd like to make a couple as joke gifrts to my co-workers who tease me about keeping stuff like this instead of just throwing it away. I'd prefer something a little bit more useful or attractive.

Thanks! Karin

Little scrapbook covers?

Cut in strips, roll, put in tuna cans and pour on wax for emergency candles.

Cardboard angels? Add a wooden head and and some wings.

All I have for now. LOL

Do what you love, love what you do.

Would they flatten out to make curvy roads for little cars to drive on? That is all my son does is drive his hot wheels on roads of all kinds/

I like the pencil holder idea.

...maybe stitch bias tape around the edge (flat) and turn them into coasters?
... wrap it around a clean empty soup can and it becomes a pen/ pencil holder?
