Okay ,girls
went to Michael's and had a 50% off cupon
well I couldn't go in there and get the new bead board all by it self could I?
It was regular $19.00 something; i did save $10.00 on it. tee hee
it evens folds over and shuts when you are through with it
and it is purple !!
Well,
I am designing 2 necklaces they had these pretty roses with a crystal bead in the center
on each side they have places where you add beads
Well
I got enough for 2 necklaces I had already got the crystal pearls in a cream color
and I decided to go back and get those real crystal beads in a cream color to go in between the pearl beads.
I had to have some crimpler beads for the ends and new circle things to attach at the end for the lobster claws the ones I had where to small
then I decided I had to have this pretty crystal cross and went back through the bead isle and saw these pretty creme colored heart crystal beads to go on my new necklace
I had to have them seeing as I love hearts.Ha
Well, here I go back around there was another antique cross,
I had to have that one too.lol
Oh girls even though I saved $10.00 on the bead board I ended up over spending,
please tell me I am not the only one to do this?
You all know I love sewing , quilting , knitting and crocheting too.
I just started back beading big time.
I am hopeless.
One good news. I lost another 2 lbs. Yippee.
I need hugs , or something , I am kicking myself and debating on if I should take back my treasures or not.

we are a bit closer ; but not as close as we use to be
It about 8 miles or more to the stores now
so I don't go that often now.

Sheila, OH my gosh! You are so not alone!!!!! I don't do bead work much anymore, but I spin and I just got 5 fleece that are taking up a large corner of my front room! I would say that if you are risking not being able to pay the bills or put food on the table or if you decide that you just wont use something you got, then return at least some of it! Otherwise I would not be so hard on yourself! It sounds like you got things that are picked out for projects. There are so many choices that it's hard for any of us that do crafts to walk into a store and only spend a few $$!! I would love to see what you make!

Nope, happens here all the time. I live about a hour from JoAnns so when I go I make it count. Except for the scrapbooking things I think I have to have, I usually use it all. I know the feeling but, it's so nice to have what you need and want for a project. Use it all, make lots of pretties and Enjoy!

OMG Sheila--I went into Michaels yesterday with a friend--I wasn't going to buy anything and ended up spending 35 dollars. I told her I was never going to any store with her again. So I'll give you hugs if you hug me back. LOl MB

I am sure thankful that the nearest Michaels, Roberts, or any other real craft or yarn shop is an hour and 1/2 away. I always manage to buy more than I planned when I get there...just isn't as often as it COULD be. Too far to take things back. Sounds like you will put your new treasures to good use! And congrats on the 2 lbs!!

When I do go into town with the sole purpose of going to Micheals or JoAnns, I wear my ponies blinders and my D-in-law to push me thru, or else I come out with a pick-up truck load and no time to make everything, lol. If you are going to hoestly use everything and/or give/sell your finished creations, THEN KEEP IT ALL! Hugs coming your way
