A former student and his wife are having their first baby this winter. They don't know if it's a boy or girl, so I decided to go with primary colors. I found the SOFTEST flannel. The blanket has 4 "lobes" that fold up and around to snuggle the baby, then I made a matching burp rag.

Very cute and bright! I just had #4 and made up a few blankets and burp cloths for myself.. Just regular old squares but yours makes a great swaddle blanket!

I posted a few of the things I made on my blog..
I even took a pillowcase from the thrift, cut it open and made a blanket from it
