I was wondering if anyone knows of any good online stores for yarn. Ever since i quit working at the craft store it's become kinda hard for me to stock up when i have a project in mind.

I've ordered from http://www.elann.com/ before and been very happy with the quality and the service. They tend to carry more high end yarns but have a pretty good discount. You also might try http://www.knitpicks.com/. Good luck!

It's not about being perfect, but enjoying what you do. Set aside time to be creative.

Karen,
I have ordered yarn from this site, http://www.createforless.com/
I have been happy with them.. the only thing is, you would order in
bulk. If you have friends who would like to also order, join up together.
I have began a mission at my former church where the ladies would crochet
or knit hats for newborns at the local hospital. All of us would place our
order together and we save on shipping with large order(free with $100.00 or more).

Believe it or not my sister found a huge amount of wonderful yarn at the Goodwill store. Also go to the book store and write down all of the internet sites from the magazines. Have fun looking at all of them on an ugly winter day. Good luck. I am a new knitter and making my first hat, and it even looks like a hat.
