Posted - Sep 25 2009 : 10:41:54 PM Ok, I Lied...well not really, I just had a moment of weakness.... I found yet another sewing machine at the 2nd Hand shop...but I had good reason to buy it, well actually 2 good reasons....the first one..the machine is pink and the second reason, it cost only $3.79... take a peek in my katmom blog to see it. I am still woozy from all the excitement!

Posted - Sep 28 2009 : 12:24:50 PM ..pants on fire! That is what you should sew with your new machine. You are an addict! But as far as that goes, I couldn't wish a nicer affliction on someone. :) Enjoy!

Posted - Sep 27 2009 : 1:43:13 PM GREAT FIND!!! Good job . . .
Right now, there is what we call the SEWING MACHING "SOAP" SAGA going on my house. However, I won't get into that right now. I just might post a new forum for that . . . suffice it to say right now that there are SIX sewing machines in my house!!

Posted - Sep 26 2009 : 09:45:59 AM I have never scored such a fantastic deal....I still keep pinching myself to see if I am dreaming... Now I only need 1 more machine,,,& this will be the challenge.....I spotted one at a quilt shop in Ephreata,WA. It was the sweeeeetest Red & White colored machine called a "Bel-Air", like my 1954 Bel-Air Chevy car. They wouldn't sell it soooo I am on A Quest....& I know someday I will find one...and then I really will stop buying sewing machines..(yeah Right!) LOLOLOL!
Ok, now I am off to go torment MJF sister MaryJane Lee, as she is a "Pink-a-holic" and will be green with envy....hee hee hee...

Posted - Sep 26 2009 : 04:22:47 AM What a great sewing machine that is!!! I've never seen a pink one, but I would have snatched it up too! To me, Sears Kenmore's are the best of the old machines, it's what I grew up on, and what I sew with now! I saw 2 different Brother sewing machines at garage sales yesterday, was going to get them for my 2 oldest daughters, but passed them up, because I want their first sewing machine ownership to be pleasant, not a pain! Have fun with that Grace! :)
