What have you been working on latley? I've been working on 2 nine patch pillows for a friend. And still working on my Yellow Brick Road quilt. I'm working on a blog and might post pictures of what I'm working on.

I am starting to work on stuffed baby toys. How would you wash to fabric first to get all the chemicals out?

knitting socks right now..for youngest daughter. The ones I just finished for older daughter I posted a picture of on my blog. I have been on quite a roll with the sock knitting...don't seem to get tired of it!

I am working on crocheting a baby sweater, but I don't like how its coming out, so I might just have to scrap it and make it into a baby blanket instead. I wonder if I'm ever going to get the hang of this baby sweater business..lol

I was inspired by a crafter at the mall to knit some quick scarves for all my nieces for Christmas. There is such fun yarn available and you can make two skinny scarves from one ball of specialty yarn when mixed with a plain ol' cheapie acrylic yarn and they look fantastic!! I am thankful for my ability to knit and save sooooo much money.

keep searchin'-it's out there somewhere.

Oh, Lisa, it's not mine. It will go to the eldest of my DH's sisters. We're just processing a bunch of heirlooms and mementos; part of his dad's estate that had to be cleared out a storage facility, (which is all in my living room right now...) so, (thankfully) with our trip to S-I-L's house for Thanksgiving, it will be passed to it's rightful heir. The skirt was feared lost so it was a joyful "find" when it turned up. Anyway, it's a beauty and I'm glad I had a chance to see what all the fuss was about, it's a wonder for sure.

Say to them, may the Lord bless you and protect you, May the Lord smile upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace. (Numbers 6:23-26)

Thanks Marian, wish I could take credit for it, but, nope, it's from someone else's gifted hands. At least I get to see it and be inspired by it's wonder!

I know the topic is "What are "you" working on, but I mentioned this Christmas tree skirt in a previous post and y'all seemed interested. My husband's grandmother made this, I am in awe! I need to post one really close up pic so y'all can see the detail of the sequins and beads, it's stunning. The tree skirt is wool, beads, sequins, and so-on, @ least 55yrs old, as my S-I-L remembers helping bead one of the lambs.
