Started x~stitching in the 70s and really got into it. I collected everything cross~stitch I could find...magazine articles, monogram patterns, home dec ideas, clothing (including apron), etc.

I can ship my whole 2 pound paper collection of cross~stitch ideas, patterns and even a little kit for $4.95 (all stuffs into a USPS priority envelope!) Tons of ideas and inspiration for wintertime projects.

If anyone is interested in my over 35 years collection, I will be happy to send it on to the first respondent. Only asking for shipping cost.

Best, Sharon

I also have a LOT of cross-stitch books, and I worked for 15 years for a cross-stitch company, so you can imagine the stuff I have. Now I begin to realize it is more to do than I have left in my life, probably! I need to go through it all and downsize too! It is wierd to begin to realize that your years of living are now a consideration.....

How sad to lose all that in a house fire...it is amazing how fast it all builds up again though, isn't it? the books, materials, kits, tools...I love about all needlecrafts and hate to get rid of anything. I have a big trunk full of ideas and things that I will very likely use this year for Christmas..it will be a scaled down mostly all homemade Christmas at our house. I bet I have enough supplies on hand to not have to buy much of anything for the projects if I am careful.
Sounds like your cross stitch things went to a great home Sharon!
