Posted - Sep 06 2009 : 05:51:33 AM When I owned my Quilt store thsi was becoming all the rage. But while it was lots of fun to do. The biggest complaint was thta it used a TON of fabric. If you are a 'frugal' quilter. (as I am) you will feel, like you are wasting money on fabric. You get a similar look to a regular quilt, and you do save money on batting.
It is fun. I made some tablerunners and pillow. HAve fun with it. Arttie |

Posted - Sep 06 2009 : 04:21:05 AM I have a pattern for a folded log cabin quilt. I have seen one and they are beautiful. You don't have to use batting or anything because the material you sew the pieces to takes the place of that. I will tell you they are very heavy. Great for cold winter nights!
