I just bought a used sewing machine as the tension on my old sewing machine went wonky (luv that expression Nancy!)...and wouldn't you know this one naturally...is also having issues with tension.

I don't even know where to begin. I went online to look for help but no luck. Anyone have this particular brand of sewing machine? Does anyone out there know what the tension should be set at?

I am knee deep in back-logged sewing projects and am itching to get started. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The machine is an Alden 305 Deluxe-------made in Japan. I figure it was made in the early 60's??

Thank you gals!
