Has anyone tried to make your own sanitary pads? I know its a little out there, but intriguing.

Lots of the gals here make them for sale or giveaways and they've really caught on. Past that point in life myself but I'd give it a try. Is how our ancestor ladies handled the situation. Truthfully, it makes sense that it is healthier for us and more environmentally friendly.
