Stacey! those pants do look very similar, i love the little dress over them too :) it would be so easy to sew ruffles on the bottoms, so cute for around the garden, i would love to make a pair in brown

I just bought that same pattern that Stacy mentioned and I am anxious to make the pants and the jacket. You really could make the pants to look like the bloomers. I can't wait to try!

Remember, you are unique-- just like everyone else.

I love the pinafore apron, it comes in a kit (I really just want the pattern) but it's sold out!!!

I bought Butterick 5363 the other day, the pants in that pattern look VERY close to those bloomers.

They don't have a ruffle at the bottom, but it should be easy enough to add. You could do it out of matching fabric, or cheat and use gathered cotton lace. :)

I wish I could find a workable pattern for that wrap/ruffle dress... it's beautiful!

Those would make perfect summer dresses/outfits for working outside especially if they were 100% cotton. Light and cool and well ventilated!

Shayna,

Malphi's collection is so romantic and stylish..it's that English flair!

Rachel Ashwell (Shabby Chic) could put together that chippy worn paint, falling apart furniture and make it look fabulous...then she went and reproduced those vintage rose designs into fabric....omg, I'm such a rose junkie..especially the English cabbage rose.

It's definitely an English thing!
