I really need a pair of wool sox and they are hard to find so I also have been thinking of making them....but they look too difficult but I should listen to you gals and give it a try. Have3 to wait until later this fall...:D

Those knitting needles and crochet hooks that gal makes are fabulous. Those would definitely be heirlooms to pass onto your kids. I'd love to learn how to knit or crochet socks. Thanks Sheila for suggesting u tube. I'd never thought of that :)

I Love knitting them
I made 40 pair one year
The year I learned to make them
I gave them as gifts.
and kept some

and knitting socks isn't hard ;
if you get the learn how to knit socks book at JoAnn's
the leasiure arts book I think
they are really simple and fun to make
I am Diabetic type 2 and they feel really good on my feet
I add more of a cuff then they do on their basic socks.
give them a try it isn't hard and it is fun.
Take a class.
or go to you tube and look up sock knitting for begnniers
