Posted - Jul 25 2009 : 02:15:15 AM Those knitting needles and crochet hooks that gal makes are fabulous. Those would definitely be heirlooms to pass onto your kids. I'd love to learn how to knit or crochet socks. Thanks Sheila for suggesting u tube. I'd never thought of that :)

Posted - Jul 24 2009 : 12:07:12 PM Those are neat and knitting socks isn't hard ; if you get the learn how to knit socks book at JoAnn's the leasiure arts book I think they are really simple and fun to make I am Diabetic type 2 and they feel really good on my feet I add more of a cuff then they do on their basic socks. give them a try it isn't hard and it is fun. Take a class. or go to you tube and look up sock knitting for begnniers hugs sheila
