Posted - Feb 20 2006 : 2:14:20 PM here's that pattern for the little Pocket Bunnies .. there are so many different little 'pockets' that could be made for these (pattern doesn't include this one .. cuz' i want ya'll to get real creative and show us your STUFF! It will be fun to see the different styles of 'pockets' you come up with!
Remember .. jus' send me an SASE (self-addresed-stamped-envelope) and i'll tuck one of these in for you. I've included a pattern for a little fabric 'carrot' too .. made some ADORABLE ones .. they are at Glover's Station (which is my antiques shoppe where i have a booth) .. will take some pics of them and send them along too. This time .. i just scribble-scrabbled the pattern with m;y 'hen-scratching' .. but it is sooooooo easy to do!
this is ROSE .. her dress is made from some of that yummy 'barkcloth' that sweet diane sent to me .. her 'pocket' is soft pink flannel and soft green flannel. I used a cute little 'vintage rose' button on her pocket .. tucked inside is also a 'carrot' .. not a fabric one that i made though. Would be adorable with some 'easter grass' tucked into her 'pocket' too!
and here is ESMERLDA .. she has a sweet vintage 'emerald' green button .. that's how she got her name.

these two little darlin's are 'up for adoption' .. their adoption "fee" is $10. each (plus train fare to your house). jus' e-mail me if you'd like one. xo

Posted - Feb 27 2006 : 07:28:06 AM i'm sending off some of those bunny patterns this morning ... i also tucked in a little snippet of 'dyed-orange feedsacking' for you to make a carrot with .. and some green-tinted 'rag ball' "carrot tops". all you have to do is to sew the sides together .. turn it right-side out .. stuff it ... gather the top .. (sew the little greenies together to keep them from slipping outta' the carrot .. and take a little 'stitch' at the top of the carrot to anchor them in! and VOILA .. you have a cutie carrot.
i'm sending photos of some fun 'antique ticking' carrots that i made to my kentucky ramblings and treasure seekers this morning to see! .. along with some other treasures! xo

Posted - Feb 24 2006 : 4:06:33 PM Frannie, you'll be proud of me. I went to the beach to visit my Moma and work on some projects with her AND I left frozen pizza in the freezer for my hunkman to heat up all by himself! He called me last night and was so proud that he didn't burn it. It reminded him of his bachelor days. I had so much fun with Moma. We even went through fabric and picked out cute ones for bunnies.

Posted - Feb 20 2006 : 6:54:56 PM jus' finished two more bunnies and i SWEAR .. this was NOT "my" idea of NAMES .. THEY chose them .. THEY are to blame!
"BEAVIS" .. AND .. "BUTTHEAD"
used yet more of that great fabric from diane .. the olde feedsack in these pics that is 'grungy' looking was heavily 'stained' to make them look like they'd been hopping through the briar patch. the 'sacks' and 'wraps' are homespun.
