If you take a peek over in "News from MaryJanes's Farm" under the Rag Rug topic,,,you'll get to see some pic's of us creating our rag rugs...it was tons of fun....
No one has more fun than a pacel of farm girls with a crochet hook in their hands and a laugh in their heart.

...there's no place like Mary Jane's farm... there's no place like Mary Jane's farm... hmm, maybe I'm doing it wrong, I'm still stuck here in PA... I guess it's the shoes, dansko's must not work as well as ruby slippers ;)
Thanks katmom for the suggestions! I know it's a crime, but every time I get one of my MJ magazines I put it in my studio to save to read at a less hectic/crazy time - hopefully over the summer - (so I have a pile that I've only glanced through saving to read during a quiet time)... but then I just never seem to have enough time period... So I guess I gotta just make the time as soon as I get the new ones to check out the projects and other good stuff in a timely fashion! :0)

Yes, those rugs are fun to make and until I settle on the colors for the trailer I am holding back on sheets. That will be my next project, after the trailer, of course. :D

I had to meet up with my co-hort in crime over at the River to go over some last minute details for our Sisters on the Fly camp out event....I was runing late so I literaly put my paint brush down grabbed my notes & jammed over,,,,looking like a homeless bag lady covered from head to toe in "Country White" paint & 46 years worth of trailer dirt & grime.... but my lil' Scotty is coming along & If I stay focused it will be ready by June 4th...
Any MJF gals boarded?, do feel free to come on over & help! lol!
Ok, now I need to get out & water my plants and then head off to work....
Oh & Karen, yep striped up another set of sheets for yet another rug last night...this one is going to be a birthday gift....& then I will work on one for my trailer.....oh it's all Rebekka's fault! lol!

Yes, it was a ton of fun. I completed my rug last night and dedicated it to my dog, Dash. He loves to snuggle on it.
Katmom, you are a kick, we all love being around you! You're a barrel of fun! So positive and full of compliments. Keep it up, hope you can with all the stress of trailer remodeling!

Hey Beth,,,,Think Dorthy, think Ruby Slippers, now close your eyes & repeate after me,,,There's no place like MaryJanes farm...
The good part is that nearly all the projects are or have been posted in MaryJanes books, magazines or online...
Contact Rebekka for help with the Rag Rug pattern...she is a real gem and will walk ya through it.
