I have a nice set of bed sheets.
the elastic however wore out.
Where can I find it?
Is there some in the fabric stores for this purpose?
Or
Will I have to buy the regular kind and sew some to make the lenght I need?
Help; thanks hugs sheila

Just buy regular elastic maybe 1/2" wide. Put your sheets on the bed and see where you want the elastic to start and where you want it to angle and end. Just check one corner and you can repeat the same thing afterwards on the remaining three corners. I am guessing but stretch the elastic across the corner and then when you take the sheet off the bed pull the elastic to about 1/2 the length or alittle better and stitch it down. Put that corner back on the bed and see if it works. Adjust if needed and finish the other 3 off as the first one. Another way is to pull the elastic around the corner where the first elastic was and as you are pulling, stitch it so that when you are finished it wil pull the corner gathered like it was new. It's hard to describe what I am telling you but you can make it fit again with new elastic.
