The dolls average about 13 inches tall. Even though I work from my original pattern, they all tend to take on a life of their own and so turn out a bit different. One of a kind, I guess.

Karen, I'm gonna email you, happy to lend some advice if I can.

i love these! i a currently teaching myself to crochet and found a similarish pattern online for a basic doll. probably a bit too much to start out with. but so far so good. however, i have recently come to a stand still. the directions haven't been so clear and i have had to do some deciphering. I'm stuck on the arms, more specifically the thumbs. Could you possibly point me in the right direction?

very sweet! how big are they? a few years ago, i crocheted a pocket doll for each of my kids, but these look so much better detailed than mine did.
