Posted - Apr 03 2009 : 11:07:53 PM So cute! I loved the ones in MaryJane's book. They are so pretty! I want to make some similar ones. I really like the ones in the book though because they are the old screw-back type of earring. I don't think they make those any more. I guess I can find some old screwbacks at the thrift and put the rick rack on them. :) Thanks for the patterns!

Posted - Apr 03 2009 : 08:13:22 AM Kari Mecca in a recent Sew Beautiful magazine had easy instructions for rickrack flowers, also Wrights has an instruction sheet: http://www.wrights.com/wrights/class/04_easter/rickrackflowers/rickrackflowers.htm
Kari Mecca and Martha Pullen, and maybe a few other companies sell cotton rickrack which I've heard is easier to work up than the poly, as long as you pre-shrink it.
