Posted - Mar 26 2009 : 07:44:47 AM I think a potholder swap would be fun, they are so easy to make and every one needs a new set, mine are getting nasty, and its more fun to make stuff for other poeple, Any swap is fun with everyone participating! I love the apron mini swap, however I think its getting to big, I agree 30 was way to many.

Posted - Mar 25 2009 : 6:37:14 PM Great ideas girls...how about: Journals or Journals covers Pin Cushions Fat Quarter Swap Hat/Mitten Swap Pillow Cases...not only needle work but quilted, flannel, etc. Scarf...quilted, crochet, knit, etc...do what you are comfortable with Bags...beyond totes...cell phone cases, day packs, messanger bags, small bags for change, makeup, etc Handmade earrings Flannel Charms Strips of fabric swap...example Jelly Rolls Kit swap...something that you are good at...kit it up and send it for someone else to make, include materials and instructions. We do this in my quilting club and it is a lot of fun. Do a small quilt project...everyone using the same pattern but use your colors and fabric style, then post it on the forum or swap it.
Thanks. Tami

Posted - Mar 25 2009 : 5:02:53 PM How about the coffee things you put around paper cups of coffee.
I think the mini aprons are cool too just maybe not so many in a group. The Last one was for 30 and it took some a long time to finish. How about glassed holders for us hard of seeing.
Purses or make up bags.
I wasn't finished before and it took my reply early. I have so much fun with these I have a couple of things stock piled for what ever.

Posted - Mar 25 2009 : 4:56:29 PM Small quick and cheap. Pot holders Tea towels Aprons Hot Pads Glass coasters table scarves I just like to see the talent and ideas that people come up with and that I don't make. I sew but really don't do much for my self.
