Are any of you girls like me? I take on a few projects and then add a couple more and a few after that, and then just one more....
I get on sewing and crafting overload..hehe.
I've got a check list right now to make sure I've completed all of my swaps and sewing projects and just all over crafty projects. I put them in order of deadline and ease..lol
Slowly I am crossing them off and getting them done.
All I've got left so far is

a dolly to embroider
a tea towel to embroider
a project to come up with ;)
a bunny for my hubby
a dress for dd

How about you? Are you a check it off the list sewing and crafting overloader too?

hehe hugs,

Jessie

Bridgette--Im right there with your kind of royalty. If its not a day or two project, chances are I am not going to be finishing it. I have drawers full of things that need worked on. Crazy!! lol
Marcia and Shelia--wouldn't that be fun if it was the same bedspread?!?! You would be able to encourage each other along. How wonderful!!:)
Kathy--you are brave! I don't think I would be so courageous to take on baby sleepers!
Jami--yep! we all need this sort of support group..hehe-- It wasn't that long ago that I asked the project question, so you aren't too far behind..hehe...Plus, you got small kiddo, that makes life interesting when trying to finish projects for sure.;)
I have loved reading yalls posts. I hope alot more will post and share so we have more and more support..hehe
hugs

Hey Pinkroses! I think we're making the same crocheted bedspread. My DD said I probably won't finish it until I'm 80. I don't even remember when I started it. A long time ago.

Wow, sounds just like me! Mom and I joke with each other that we are the queens of unfinished projects. We both usually have a long list of projects we've started, are working on, or have just collected most of the materials for!

Its so nice to know its nothing unusual in the farmgirl world!

Gosh, this is like being in a support group. I have the same list of projects that I had the last time we listed them here. Sigh.

I sometimes think it is not so much about someone using these crafted items, but just being able to create pretty things and keeping my hands and mind busy. I'm old and think that the longer I keep busy the longer I am here. ;D
I have been busy making dishcloths every night (it's an ongoing thing), I finished the baby quilt, I have a tote to make for a swap, an afghan that I need to start over, a baby sleeper to complete, and a few other items that are cut out to sew.

Find your joy and live it. http://cheneybaglady.blogspot.com/http://www.kpaints.etsy.com FG #377

oh gee
I have a quilt I have yet to finish
It was started over 2 years ago
Normally I get those done pretty quick
I have a knitting shawl that I am embroidering pinkroses on
I have a ongoing bedspread I am chrocheting
It is a hexaghon motif it has pop corns in it
It takes 30 minutes or a little more to make one motif
I need over 300 and some for a full size bed.
I have my ongoing lace I make
But,
No one seems like they are interested in buying my corn yellow lace.
But,
I love to make them. hugs sheila

Wow, Ingrid! You go girl!! lol You've got a whole buffet platter there ;)
7 tea towels!!!!That sure makes me one left look piddling..hehe. I seem to pile a lot on all at once, but then once I'm done, there's nothing to do but add on.:D I think I like it better that way maybe. I don't bored as easily that way :)

I have two skirts to sew, 1 fleece jacket, three pairs of slippers to knit, one denim quilt, put lining in three easter baskets, one apron to finish, 7 tea towels to embroider and finish my latch hook rug for the kitchen that I have been working on forever. The only things that have deadlines are the skirts and the easter basket. In the past month I have finished one t-shirt crochet rug 2' x 4', 5 hexagon dishcloths, two pairs of slippers, one crib quilt, two knitted scarves, and all my mending that was piled up. So not bad.

Give thanks to yourself everyday for all the wonderful things you do!

Me. I'm not even going to list the things I have started. But....I've spent the past two weeks or so cleaning out my sewing(AKA fabric storage)room. I thought I was making great progress. Tonight I went in there to find something. I haven't even made a dent. However I will keep at it. I know I'm getting rid of things and organizing at the same time. I just wish it would start to show.

Wow Jessie! You sure have alot on your plate!

Here's what I have going on:

~Finishing up knitting a shawl (for the seniors through our County Health Dept.)
~Need to work on another shawl
~I need to embroider 2 sets (7 per set) tea towels for Mother's Day gifts

I still need to learn how to sew! And within that are plenty of projects

I do love checking off lists :)
