Posted - Jan 27 2006 : 9:43:54 PM Saw similar ones in a quilting supply catalog. Those would make great stocking stuffers, I know, I'm either early or late in my thinking.

Posted - Jan 27 2006 : 2:56:09 PM I made the cover and then just made little gathers to make it tight around the handle. I'm sure how to best explain.
I'll try to work up some better instrustions

Posted - Jan 27 2006 : 05:21:24 AM Bridgette How did you make that oh so cute spoon pin cushion? Like for instance how did you secure the fabric to the top of the spoon where you have the bow? i have lots of old silver spoons and thought I might try and make a few. So any advise is welcome. Posted - Jan 26 2006 : 09:24:26 AM To make them: You just sew a little cover over the bowl of the spoon.Fill with wool or polyfil, then gather and tuck it around the handle. Add the little bow for decoration. |
