Does anyone know where I could find a pattern for crocheted dresses for Barbie dolls using plain old worsted weight acrylic yarn? Ive been looking them up online but so far, the only pattern I found for it had an instruction flaw so its no good.
The kids have about 5 Barbies who are running around in their birthday suits. Normally this wouldnt bother me, but they want to take them places and it embarasses me to have such poorly clad dollies.
Thanks girls!

My grandma made my sister and me the most beautiful crocheted Barbie clothes! My favorite was a silver evening gown she made using silver metallic thread (crocheen)! I LOVED it (still do!)! With the various crochet threads and yarns available now--the options are endless for beautiful Barbie attire! What fun! The Barbie Basics site was wonderful!

I have a book on knitting Barbie clothes by Nicky Epstein. I haven't tried any of the patterns yet but they have a lot of really cute ones.

Well, that first link made ME want to play with Barbies again! Those dresses were all so cute! If my daughter ever gets to playing with her Barbie I may just have to make some!
