Posted - Mar 07 2009 : 05:22:25 AM For financial reasons, I will no longer be able to participate in the swaps I had started this year. As much as I would love to, I just can't keep going. Also, Marian has graciously taken over temporarily for the spring sessions, but has also asked to have someone else take over come the summer months and into the fall.
The SWAPS are the tea cozy swap and the crafted item swap.
Any volunteers?

Posted - Mar 20 2009 : 12:13:20 PM Ann, i am behind in the swaps because my family has been sick. we are finally over it and most of my stuff is going out today. i have really enjoyed doing this, none of my close friends are into crafting so this is so much fun for me. Sooo, if you still need help tell me how and i will try my best.

Posted - Mar 07 2009 : 11:49:02 AM Hi, Tina!
The SWAP Mama posts the details of the swap and deadline for both signing up and mailing the final product. After everyone signs up, she either puts everyone into groups or assigns partners. Between final posting of partners/groups and mailing deadline, the SWAP Mama makes sure to keep everyone on task, and usually, when I'm the mama, I update the original post with a countdown to mailing deadline. Also, I try to follow up with everyone about a week or so after the mailing deadline to be sure that everyone got their packages. We have had issues with that in the past.
You can check out the other SWAPS I've hosted (Valentine's Crafted Item, Tea Cozy, Frilly Dilly Bag, St. Patrick's Day Crafted Item) to see how I did what I did.
Hope this was helpful, and if you have any more Q's, please feel free to ask.
