Hello my farmgirl friends. Wasn't for sure if this post needed to be here or nifty thrifty - but I thought I'd share it with you nonetheless. This lil' project was born out of necessity - I had to have some organization for my "jewels". Yes, I'm a farmgirl but I do like a lil' bling! Just a fun lil' project that I thought maybe you guys could use too!! Happy craftin' my friends!

Blessings for a wonderful week!
Cathy

Elsie, I think it would be a great idea for your daughters. I remember those 4-H projects very well. And I think it fits perfectly into the recyling theme - Good luck - I'm sure they will do a great job with their project. Blessings, Cathy

What a good idea for those of us that never have enought jewelry. I have a cork with hoops for my necklaces and this screen door would be great for my earrings. thanks for sharing

You have a beautiful blog. I enjoyed looking at everything. Very creative

Too cute! I used to hang mine in the window of my bathroom on a long thin dowel. I had a friend stop by once and mention that he didn't know I liked "fishing".... I was a bit surprised till I realized he was referring to my "lure" collection hanging in the window! LOL

Thanks Jessie and everybody! I guess the "shop lady" and I are on the same wavelength - hehe. I've seen different ideas many times for earring holders - I jus' never got around to making one myself. I was lucky enough to find these small screens at a junk store and I jus' loved them. Didn't know what I'd do with them at first - but sure am glad I hung on to 'em. These screens were long and skinny - the way I long to be - hehe. I guess that is why I loved them so much.

Everybody have a great day!
